Luca Scarlini explores the deep connection between music, theatre, and daily life at Palazzo Vendramin Grimani, long a meeting place between art and society. Through documents, scores, posters, and instruments featured in the exhibition Di storia e di arte. Tre secoli a Palazzo Vendramin Grimani, he reconstructs the image of the palazzo as a stage for the political, aesthetic, and familial passions of the Vendramin Grimani family, intertwined with the vibrant theatrical life of nineteenth-century Venice.

On Tuesday, June 17, a selection of films titled “The Novecento in Venice” will be screened, accompanied by commentary from Carlo Montanaro.
