BOOK NOW

From a narrative spanning over five centuries, only scattered fragments survive today—pieces of a varied Venetian mosaic that the authors have partly recovered, reassembling a design certainly incomplete, but finally readable. This is not a simple story, but the chronicle of a historical sedimentation, the result of changing tastes through the ages. A slow decantation that transformed the architectural shell of the palace into a precious treasure chest, filled with memories, art, and lived experiences, from the 16th to the 20th century.

Starting from the origin of the nickname “dall’Albero d’Oro,” the book retraces the vicissitudes of a noble and ancient lineage, from the Vendramin to the Marcello Grimani Giustinian, offering the reader an immersion into the daily, social, and cultural life of Venice of the past.
