As you already know by now, Nicolò Manucci's journey begins at the age of fifteen, when he secretly embarks on a tartan about to set sail for the Orient. During his journey, he meets, associates and forges close relationships with the greatest protagonists of India at the time. He faces adventures and misadventures of all kinds as a soldier, courtier, doctor and diplomat, adapting himself to every circumstance. In old age he will be the narrator of his own story, to which he will give the name Storia del Mogol.
