On the occasion of the 17th edition of the International Festival of Literature in Venice Incorci di Civiltà, Fondazione dell'Albero d'Oro is hosting at Palazzo Vendramin Grimani the meeting with the winner of the Incrocidicivilta-Albero d'Oro youth prize dedicated to authors under 40, Emilienne Malfatto, French writer, journalist and photojournalist.

Meeting in French with consecutive translation.

Emilienne Malfatto

Emilienne Malfatto is a photographer, novelist and journalist - once a war reporter. Her photographic work has been exhibited in France and abroad, and published in media such as the New York Times and the Washington Post. She won the Goncourt prize for first novels for Que sur toi se lamente le Tigre, and the Albert-London prize for Les serpents viendront pour toi : une histoire colombienne. She has recently completed a work of non-fiction about Argentina's last dictatorship, L'absence est une femme aux cheveux noirs, to be published in April 2024.
