Palazzo Vendramin Grimani's 2023 season came to a close with the first edition of Invitation to the voyage, held from 23 to 25 November, a series of conversations between writers in the drawing room of Palazzo Vendramin Grimani, aimed at highlighting the journey or journeys that are the subject of a narrative, but also at revealing the trigger that drives authors to follow particular itineraries, whether - separately or simultaneously - real, imaginary or historical.

For three days, the living room of the historic residence on the Grand Canal was animated by Paolo Rumiz, Jean-Paul Kauffmann, Cédric Gras, Emmelene Landon, Ian Brennan, Jean Rolin, Loïc Finaz, Marilena Umuhoza Delli, Philibert Humm, Ruth Ellen Gruber, and Tharik Hussain, Shaul Bassi, Caroline Broué, Lucie Tournebize, Gabriella Zimmermann.
