'Invitation to the voyage' highlights

The first edition of the Incontri dell'Albero d'Oro, annual appointments dedicated to literature and in line with the annual programme of exhibitions and events open to the public at Palazzo Vendramin Grimani, has come to an end.

From 23 to 25 November 2023, in collaboration with the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and on the occasion of the last days of exhibition Nicolò Manucci. the Marco Polo of India being open to the public, the Invitation to Travel meetings featured 12 authors during eight conversations open to more than 250 spectators.

Authors and travellers from different horizons such as Ian Brennan, Loïc Finaz, Cédric Gras, Ruth Ellen Gruber, Philibert Humm, Tharik Hussain, Jean-Paul Kauffmann, Emmelene Landon, Jean Rolin, Paolo Rumiz and Marilena Umuhoza Delli took part in the dialogues in the 'living room' of Palazzo Vendramin Grimani.
